About the Role
The HVAC Outbound Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach, relationship building, and consultative selling of HVAC products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate leads and appointments
- Identify customer needs and recommend HVAC maintenance plans, services, and upgrades
- Educate customers on memberships, indoor air quality, and cost-saving solutions
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and financing options
- Follow up on leads promptly to maintain sales pipeline
- Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and business owners
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records in CRM software
- Coordinate with installation and service teams
- Stay current on HVAC products, industry trends, and local market conditions
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2+ years outbound sales experience (in-home sales, B2C, or B2B preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and self-directed prospecting
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems or willingness to learn quickly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior HVAC, construction, home services, or mechanical sales experience
- Experience with financing options and ROI-based solutions
